Tradition of the upazila
1. Three Dome Mosque: This mosque is located in Dharampur Union of the Upazilla which was constructed with small bricks in the British period. Some natural patterns are found here.
2. Hardinge Bridge: This is the largest railway bridge in the country opened in 1911 during the British rule.
3. Lalanshah Bridge: This is a road bridge with a length of 1.6 km. This bridge provides direct road connectivity between the northern and southwestern regions of the country. The bridge was inaugurated in 2004.
4. Ganga Kopotaksha Irrigation Project (GK Project): This project was introduced in the Pakistan period. Through this project irrigation is provided in the largest kharif season of Jessore and Kushtia districts i.e. Ropa Aman season.
5. Bheramara Power Station: Power capacity is 60 MW.
6. Ghoreshah Shrine (Majar): The shrine is located 3 km west of the Upazila Sadar. Every year a significant number of devoted people gather at Orash Mahfil.
7. Solaiman Shah Shrine (Majar) : It is situated on the bank of Padma river far from 5 km North-East of Bheramara. A lot of people from far and near crowed this place every year.
