The people of Bheramara upazila of Kushtia district speak Bengali very close to the standard Bengali. Their Bengali pronunciation is very clear, inert, melodious and understandable to everyone. However, ordinary people speak Bengali in different tones of their own.
Lalonagiti of Baul Lalon Shah and Rabindra Sangeet are still very common and familiar among the people here. Moreover, on the occasion of different festivals and programmes various music songs, bhavgan, puthipatha, krishaker methogan, jatra, circus, panchali, abagan always create a melody. On the occasion of various programs, Baulgan, Jarigan, Palagan, Arang, Mela, Puppet Dance are organized here.
